At present, the widely used Air Filter performance testing standards in China are:

1. GB/T 14295-2008 "Air Filter" issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China and the Standardization Administration of China;

2, the European Committee for Standardization approved the development of EN 779:2002 "General ventilation air filter - filtration performance determination";

3, the United States National/American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and air Conditioning Engineers standard ANSI/ASHRAE52.1-1992 "General ventilation air purification device test method - weight method and colorimetric method" and ANSI/ASHRAE52.2-2007 "General ventilation air purification device diameter efficiency method".

The G, F, H, U in the air filter specifications are the division of grades, exactly according to the European standard grade division. Different countries have different standards for air filters, China's national standards are divided into three grades of primary filter, medium filter, high efficiency filter, and European standards are divided into G, F, H, and U four grades. U is super high efficiency, H is ordinary high efficiency, F is medium effect, G is the meaning of initial effect; For example: G4 is the European standard for the first effect air filter, and its filtration efficiency is about 40%.

In China, the efficient Hepa Filter of the household air filtration system is generally used in H13, and the U-grade is often used in cleanrooms and other Spaces with higher requirements. Air filter manufacturers remind you: the higher the grade of the air filter, the greater the resistance, then the energy consumption and noise will be relatively increased. So there is no need to blindly pursue too high filtration efficiency. Seeking a balance is a better air filtration solution.

Classification and characteristics of various air filters

1, the initial effect of air filter use: general ventilation air treatment equipment in the filter section or the primary filtration of fresh air system. Features: The filter material can be replaced by itself, the initial effect of the paper frame is one-time.

Scope of application: Suitable for primary filtration of air conditioning system. The primary air filter is suitable for the primary filtration of the air conditioning system, mainly for filtering dust particles above 5μm. The first effect filter has plate, folding, bag type three styles, the outer frame material has paper frame, aluminum frame, galvanized iron frame, the filter material has non-woven fabric, nylon net, activated carbon filter material, metal hole mesh, etc., the protective net has double-sided spray plastic wire mesh and double-sided galvanized wire mesh.

The characteristics of the initial effect filter are: low price, light weight, good versatility and compact structure. Mainly used for: a. central air conditioning and central ventilation system pre-filtration; b. Large air compressor pre-filtration; c. Clean return air system; d. Pre-filtration of local high-efficiency filter device; e. High temperature air filter, stainless steel frame, high temperature resistance 250-300℃ filtration efficiency

G series initial effect air filter resistance is small; Large air volume; Long life with large use.

This efficient filter is commonly used as a primary filter for air conditioning and ventilation systems, and is also suitable for simple air conditioning and ventilation systems with only one stage filtration. G series coarse air filter is divided into eight varieties, respectively: G1, G2, G3, G4, GN (nylon mesh filter), GH (metal mesh filter), GC (activated carbon filter), GT (high temperature coarse filter).

2, folding medium effect air filter use: ventilation system filtration. General air purification in electronic, pharmaceutical, mechanical instrumentation, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical, light industry, food and other fields. Features: high efficiency, large dust capacity, small space.

3, bag type medium efficiency air filter use: central air conditioning centralized ventilation system, or as a pre-filter of high efficiency filter, it can reduce the burden of high efficiency filter, extend its service life, can also be used for general air purification in the industrial field. Features: small resistance, large dust capacity.

Medium efficiency filter is mainly used in central air conditioning and central air supply system. It can be used for the primary filtration of the air conditioning system to protect the next level of the system filter and the system itself, in the place of air purification and cleanliness requirements are not strict, the air treated by the medium effect filter can be directly sent to the user in the form of the filter bag filter frame with cold plate spray, galvanized plate, etc., the filter material is non-woven fabric, glass fiber, etc., the filter particle size of 1 ~ 5um, Filtration efficiency 60 ~ 95% (colorimetric method).

Medium efficiency air filter, mainly used to capture 1-5μm of particulate dust and a variety of suspended matter, widely used in a variety of air conditioning equipment and air conditioning systems, but also for the intermediate protection of multistage filtration system. This series of products are mainly bag-type structure, frame materials are: aluminum alloy, galvanized steel, can also be made frameless. The filter material is mainly non-woven fabric.

F-series medium effect air filter is divided into two types: bag type and non-bag type, wherein bag type includes F5, F6, F7, F8, F9, non-bag type includes FB (plate medium effect filter), FS (diaphragm medium effect filter), FV (combined medium effect filter).

GK series High efficiency air filter High efficiency air filter is mainly used in microelectronics industry, precision instrumentation, medical health, biological engineering, pharmaceutical and food industries and all kinds of clean room, clean tunnel, high efficiency air supply outlet, purification table, air shower room and other purification equipment in the final stage of air filtration. The product is made of ultra-fine glass fiber filter material, hot sol as separator, special aluminum profile frame, polyurethane two-component sealant, closed cell sponge seal strip, spray steel mesh uniform flow plate after strict process refining.

1) Function: Capture 0.1 ~ 0.5um fine particles

2) Type: aluminum alloy frame, no partition

3) Filter material: ultrafine glass fiber paper

4) Efficiency: 99.999% @ 0.3um (DOP method)

4, activated carbon filter use: effectively remove odor, volatile agents, bacteria, viruses and various air pollutants, such as paint spray, smoke, electronics factory and museum common pollutants, as well as food processing plants and hospitals odor. Features: Highly developed microporous structure, high adsorption capacity, fast absorption and desorption speed, good purification effect. The use of activated carbon filtration must have a pre-filtration, otherwise, it will reduce the efficiency of activated carbon due to other pollutants in the air.

The activated carbon filter is mainly used to remove gas, vapor and smoke, and the removal of odor increases the proportion of return air in the room, thereby reducing the energy loss of heating and cooling. The proportion of carbon oxide is more than 63% of carbon, and the filter can be used with the box produced by most manufacturers.

5, nylon mesh air filter use: air quality requirements are not high ventilation and air conditioning system, or the surrounding environment is harsh, high dust places as primary pre-filtration. Features: low resistance, easy to clean, easy to maintain.

6, the use of sub-high efficiency air filter: all kinds of clean engineering and have special requirements of central air conditioning and process air supply system end filtration or clean room filtration. Features: High filtration efficiency, low resistance, large dust capacity.

High efficiency filter is divided into partition high efficiency filter and no partition high efficiency filter, partition high efficiency filter includes (with partition high efficiency filter), (high temperature high efficiency filter), (high humidity high efficiency filter); Diaphragmless high efficiency filters include (combined high efficiency filter), (no separator high efficiency filter), (liquid tank no separator high efficiency filter), (ultra-low resistance no separator high efficiency filter), (knife rack type no separator high efficiency filter), (0.1um ultra-high efficiency filter).

8. Use of high efficiency filter with large air volume: high performance filter at the end of air conditioning box. Features: high filtration efficiency, large air volume, large dust capacity.

9, aluminum mesh plate air filter use: air quality requirements are not high ventilation and air conditioning system, or the surrounding environment is worse, dust, grease larger places as the primary pre-filtration. Features: Durable, easy to clean.
